About Our Flagship SAT & ACT 50-Hour Intensive Course

The first to design, create and offer a 50-Hour Intensive SAT + ACT Prep Course in the country over 15 years ago, Pittsburgh Prep continues to innovate the curriculum each year with the following components:

Our programs are grounded in open-plan designs. We give our expert instructors the freedom to tailor our extensive core curricula to adapt to all our students needs.

Program Details

School Year Sessions

  • Frequency: 2x a week over a period of 6-8 weeks

  • Length of session: 2 hours per session

  • Total sessions: 12-16 sessions

  • Total hours: 50 Live Classroom or Online Hours

  • Tuition: $1899

Summer Sessions

  • Frequency: Intensive classes for the 1st two weeks, then weekend exams and live exam review sessions thereafter until exam day

  • Length of session: 5 hours sessions each day, Monday-Friday

  • Total sessions: 10 sessions

  • Total hours: 50 Live Classroom or Online Hours

  • Tuition: $1899

I hope that Lila gets as much out of the class as Sawyer and Mason did. Sawyer will be in his junior year at Georgia Tech studying mechanical engineering in the fall. We are pleased with Louise's results. She scored a 1200 on her June SAT with a 610 in reading and a 590 in math. This represents a 100 point gain in her math, compared to the PSAT in 11th grade, and we know that is a result of your help and Josh's. This gain also balanced out her scores. Her reading improved by 20 points. The composite score is smack dab in the middle of the range for her first choice school so we are feeling optimistic about her being accepted. Additionally, her three essay scores will distinguish her. They were a 7, 6, and 7 based on an 8 point scale.
