Maxx Mueller
Maxx, a newcomer to Pittsburgh, is a materials engineer who has a passion for teaching. He has been tutoring students in STEM courses since he was in high school and strives to bring real-world examples of how classroom concepts can be applied. After graduating from UC Berkeley in 2019, Maxx worked as an engineer for a few years in the semiconductor industry while also tutoring elementary and high school students in STEM. With a passion for learning and a curiosity towards the world around him, Maxx returned to school and obtained his Masters in materials engineering from San Jose State University in 2024.
Outside of SAT prep and engineering, Maxx can often be found on one of the ice rinks in the Pittsburgh, having grown up playing hockey (in California of all places!). In his free time, Maxx enjoys teaching his dog, Sharkie, new tricks, learning Greek, and 3-D printing things for around the house.
