Adrienne Endy, MAT
Adrienne Endy is a dedicated and dynamic educator, serving as the sole
high school French teacher at South Fayette High School. As a
one-woman department, she teaches every level of French—from
introductory French I students to those enrolled in College in High
School and Advanced Placement French.
Before joining the South Fayette School District, Adrienne taught
French at Shaler Area High School, where she developed a passion for
connecting students with the richness of the French language and
Francophone cultures. Known to her students as Madame, she brings a
vibrant, immersive approach to the classroom, sharing her enthusiasm
for all things French to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of
language learning. Building meaningful relationships with students
remains one of the most fulfilling parts of her career.
Adrienne holds both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in
Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a National Board
Certified Teacher and was recognized as a past semifinalist for
Pennsylvania State Teacher of the Year. In addition to teaching,
Adrienne enjoys tutoring and is actively involved in language
proficiency assessment.
Outside the classroom, Adrienne is a wife and proud mother of two,
often found cheering at the ice hockey rink or the dance studio. She
enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, running with
her dog, and lifting weights.
