Sebastian Kinsler

Instructor - Test Prep

Sebastian began his college education at thirteen years old, enrolling in the community college in his hometown Rochester, New York. For the next few years, he explored classes throughout academia before discovering his love for the sciences. After completing his associate degree, he transferred to the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his bachelor’s in chemistry through a program certified by the American Chemical Society.

Although he began as a neuroscience student, he quickly fell in love with the deep universal understandings only found in chemistry classes. During his time at school, he gained experience assistant teaching the Organic Chemistry I course, and developed a passion for helping others excel in one of the most daunting introductory science courses. He brings these years of experience to Pittsburgh Prep, where he uses his chemistry, math, and teaching experience to help students develop a solid comprehension of difficult STEM material. When not buried in a textbook, Sebastian can be found weaving his bicycle through traffic, disc golfing in Schenley Park, attending local concerts, or at home writing songs on the guitar.
